Kinley, your guide to Bhutan

I was born in western Bhutan in Wangdi Phodrang, my school years I spent in a boarding school which shaped my character and taught me to treat everyone equally, with respect and dignity and to give the best whatever I do without cutting corners.

Beside my studies I was always interested in different countries, their cultures and traditions. For more than 10 years I enjoyed working as a freelance tour guide with different travel agencies. I did many treks and traveled extensively throughout Bhutan. I vividly remember my trekking days especially the snowman trek. I met many people from all over the world.

To enhance my profession and gain more knowledge I attended an iconography course received teachings on Buddhism, learned Japanese and trekked in Nepal. I had travelled extensively in Japan, India, Bangkok, several countries in Europe, five different States of America and Canada.

In the middle of my life I meet my wife from Switzerland and gave up my studies in India. We decided to live here in Switzerland where I have been living with my family for nine years.

I wish to share Bhutan, my hidden-away country, with you and to be of service to you all.
